On February 2nd, Phil Groundhog pops out to see,
Just how much winter there's going to be.
If the day is cloudy, he plays outside,

Groundhog Day
Today was not only the 100th day of school, but also Groundhog Day. This was the perfect time to learn a poem, make a puppet and do a short puppet show about the groundhog/woodchuck. We do have Woodchuck around here, especially at the river. I've seen them several times this past year and one was way up in a tree!
The poem goes like this:
On February 2nd, Phil Groundhog pops out to see,
