Save Reading Booklets

Please save the Reading booklets that come home every week.  Stash them in a shoe box, folder or drawer.  These booklets are sent home every Friday.  The students learned to read them the best that they could.  Your child should practice reading them as much as possible.  Keep a list of tricky words that they don't know and work on them as flashcards.  These books will be so nice for you this summer when you need books for their level to practice as it is difficult to find high quality easy readers.  The school is nice enough to purchase these for you, so please take advantage of it.  Being a good reader is a vitally important skill that they will need for a life time and it takes practice.  These books are the perfect tool to help!
